The Creators of Gracefield

Gracefield has been created through a collaboration of local Nelson investors forming Gracefield Resort Ltd. 

It was the local investors who had the vision for Gracefield. they are now people who have travelled the world and developed a broader view of life and how it should be in the third age. They placed themselves in the residents shoes and said "Where would I like to live? How would I like to live? What environment would I like to live in?". And so Gracefield living was created. They've been vitally involved in the planning and design of Gracefield and it is they who have placed the high priority on sustainability, high aesthetic values, and contemporary lifestyle focus.

One of the investors in Gracefield is the Griffin family who have owned and farmed the land for the past few years. The Griffin family have had an association with Nelson for four generations and most recently have been significant contributors to the re-planting of marginal farmland on the hills behind Gracefield. Their passion for Gracefield is to see a new community of friends and companions emerge who are fully involved in life and living at an address like no other in New Zealand.
